Equine Assisted Psychotherapy
Healing isn't just about understanding your story. It's about creating new experiences that help your
mind and body discover what's possible, and remember what it feels like to truly be yourself.

EQUINE ASSISTED PSYCHOTHERAPY
Overwhelmed by life
Anxious or constantly "on edge"
Stuck in patterns they can't seem to change
Emotionally exhausted or burned out
Disconnected from themselves
Struggling in relationships
Recovering from trauma
Greiving a loss
Navigating a major life change
Ready for something different than talk therapy
Stuck on autopilot or in survival mode
Or simply needing a safe space to expereince and feel something new
Therapy
for people who feel...
Life can feel "fine" on the outside and still feel heavy on the inside. You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Sometimes the bravest step is simply choosing a different way forward.
You don't have to do this alone.
WHY HORSES?
Horses have an incredible ability to bring us into the present moment.
As prey animals they are naturally attuned to body language, emotion, and subtle shifts in our nervous system. They respond honestly and without judgement, offering immediate feedback that can help us recognize patterns we may not even realize we are carrying.
Unlike traditional talk therapy, working alongside horses creates opportunities to experience and practice change, not just talk about it. Those moments often become the foundation for greater self-awareness, healthier relationships, and lasting growth.
EXPERIENTIAL. SOMATIC. RELATIONAL.

Change begins when we stop trying to think our way through it
and give ourselves the space to experience something different.

Questions About Cost + Insurance?
We believe that therapy should feel transparent and accessible.
Here's what you need to know about private pay, insurance reimbursement, and financial support.
PRIVATE PAY PRACTICE
Wylde Reins is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly. This allows us greater flexibility in how we structure your care and keeps treatment decisions between you and your therapist rather than being determined by insurance requirements.
INSURANCE + SUPERBILLS
If your plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, we can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Reimbursement amounts vary by plan, so we encourage you to check with your insurance provider about your out-of-network benefits.
SCHOLARSHIPS
We never want cost to be the reason someone doesn't reach out. Limited sliding scale availability may be offered based on need. Scholarships are also available, based on need, through our non-profit partner, Root'd In Hope.
Have questions about cost, scholarships, or whether this is the right fit for you? Schedule a free consultation and we will talk through it with you.
